Alert Level 3

Kia ora Koutou,

Following yesterday’s announcement we return to Alert Level 3. This means the following for our school community:

For all ākonga our Distance Learning Programme continues to be online. Link: Our Distance Learning site will be updated every Sunday at 1pm with work for the upcoming week. Ākonga with any questions about using the site should email their Kaitiaki teacher for support. Video conferencing (e.g. Google Meets or Zoom) will also run this week – times and details will be available on the Distance Learning site – DLP Middle School and Senior School.

All ākonga should be learning from home though ākonga under the age of 14 who cannot stay at home and need supervision at school for distance learning, please email Ms Hunt, to join our Alert Level 3 register. To enable us to manage the safety of all in the community, this is essential.

Whānau who requested a device for Alert Level 3 situations by completing our Google form can collect from the office on Monday or Tuesday between the hours of 08:30am – 3:30pm. If there is no device at home and your family did not register with us to request a device, please email Mrs Prescott with your request.

Our Whānau Open Event scheduled for 4th March will be rearranged for a later date

Everybody has an important part to play, including whānau. Please support your children to do as much as they can though please be assured that any missed time or work will be caught up when we return at Alert Level 2. Stay safe and pray for those who are sick and affected by Covid-19.
